Fixing iPod Touch 2G and Other Gadgets

Here is an iPod touch I just rescreened. Not the easiest job but sure the customer will be happy. I have also been asked to replace the dock connnector on an iPod Touch. These were not made to be replaced like the iPhone so it will require a very careful and lengthy soldering job which comes with some risks. Still, if you dock connector is damaged then the iPod is pretty much a write off so nothing ventured, nothing gained.

This week has also seen screen repairs on iPhones plus an LG Shine which is a slide phone. It is quite an involved repair requiring careful disassembly, but I achieved it. One happy customer!!!!!

First Blog

Hello from corePhone. This is my first site blog and I intend to regularly blog with news, views and information on my latest repairs. This week, I have repaired the usual iPhone smashed digitiser screens plus a Tom Tom Sat Nav where the USB connector was broken and a Nokia 6700 Classic LCD screen. I also made a virtually new Nintendo DS from spares from one milk damaged and one which had a faulty fuse and broken card slot. Anything is possible really with my microscope and micro soldering iron. I will continue to post with my latest repairs and other information. Enjoy! Spencer.
